London Zoo

London Zoo has a huge range of animals is on show, from the tallest giraffe to the tiniest spider

The big animals are always popular – especially the giraffes. There is loads of space to run around for the kids as well as a good picnic area and extras such as a carousel, face painting and a bouncy castle.

Don’t miss the butterfly house. The butterflies are not behind any screen and they fly around your head!

In the centre, there is a very child-friendly cafe with ramps, space for parking your buggy and changing facilities. You will find a special range of healthy food for kids to put into a specially designed cardboard lunchbox with puzzles/games on.

Alternatively, if you come in the summer months, there are a couple of spacious lawns and a few benches where you can eat your own picnic.

Not a good place to go on a rainy day as most of it is outside. Also, many of the cages are refurbished in the Winter so you might not see everything you want to.

Having said this, it is still a fantastic place for kids and worth a visit :)
